Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polymer electrolyte membrane of a fluorene- and biphenyl-based branched copolymer having condensed aliphatic sulfonic acid groups and a water electrolysis system using same and, specifically, to a polymer-based electrolyte membrane of a random/branched copolymer, which attains outstanding hydrogen ion conductivity and mechanical properties in a hydrocarbon-based proton exchange electrolyte membrane, can increase performance thereof, such as oxidation stability, and can also be utilized as an electrolyte membrane for water electrolysis using a polymer electrolyte membrane operated under high-temperature/pressurization conditions.
