Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polymer electrolyte membrane, a method for manufacturing the same, and a membrane-electrode assembly comprising the same. The polymer electrolyte membrane comprises: a porous support body comprising multiple pores; a first layer comprising a first ion conductor that fills inner pores of one side surface of the porous support body; and a second layer comprising a second ion conductor that fills inner pores of the other side surface of the porous support body. The first ion conductor and the second ion conductor are different from each other. One selected from the group consisting of the first layer, the second layer, and a combination thereof comprises an organic antioxidant. The polymer electrolyte membrane has an excellent shape stability and has an improved resistance to radicals that occur during operations. Accordingly, the polymer electrolyte membrane has an excellent stability against radicals (that is, chemical stability), has an excellent ion conductivity performance, and can reduce the hydrogen transmittance.
