Abstract:
The invention discloses a polymer having a low dielectric constant and a design method of a molecular structure for lowering a dielectric constant of a polymer. The method utilizes the designability of side groups of molecular chains of polymers, where linear rigid groups are introduced in the locations between benzene ring side groups or chain structures of biphenyl groups, such that free volume voids with larger sizes are created through the relaxation rotation of benzene ring side groups, inhibiting accumulation of molecular chains, and thus further reducing the dielectric constants of the polymeric materials. The design method of the invention is simple, suitable for common polymeric materials with high performance, capable of being applied in preparing low dielectric polymeric materials, and applicable to high-technology industries such as electronics, microelectronics, information and aerospace, and particularly to very-large scale integration.
