Abstract:
Provided is a polymer micelle composite which specifically accumulates in a tumor, can remain in the blood for a long period, and brings about a high contrast in MRI when used in a small amount. A reduced administration amount hence suffices to reduce side effects, and the composite is highly safe. The polymer micelle composite comprises a block copolymer (A) comprising a hydrophilic polymer-chain segment bearing no charge and a cationic polymer-chain segment, atoms of a metal (M), and a metal complex (B) having contrasting performance in MRI.
