Abstract:
A polymer microsphere preparation apparatus (300) and method. The polymer microsphere preparation apparatus (300) comprises a microsphere generation assembly (200) and a collection container (10), wherein the microsphere generation assembly (200) comprises a continuous phase runner (1), a discrete phase runner (2), a primary runner (3), a first guide pipe (5), a second guide pipe (6), a third guide pipe (7), and working electrodes (4); the continuous phase runner (1) and the discrete phase runner (2) intersect and converge into the primary runner (3); the working electrodes (4) are arranged on two sides of the primary runner (3), and are close to a starting end of the primary runner (3); the first guide pipe (5) is inserted into the continuous phase runner (1), the second guide pipe (6) is inserted into the discrete phase runner (2), and the third guide pipe (7) is inserted into the tail end of the primary runner (3); the second guide pipe (6) is of a conductive structure; and the collection container (10) is connected to the third guide pipe (7) by means of a guide pipe. By means of the preparation method, a microfluidic chip is coupled with electrospray technology, such that a prepared microsphere has a large controllable size range, good dispersity and monodispersity, and uniformity, and the preparation method can be suitable for the preparation of various fluorescent matrix fluorescent microspheres.
