Abstract:
The trackless tack coat anionic asphalt emulsion is developed by combining a viscosifier, an anionic emulsifier, a resin emulsion, a elastomer latex, a modified low grade asphalt, a saponification agent, and a base aqueous fluid. During the development of the asphalt emulsion, none of the components or combinations of them will exceed 338°F. The modified low grade asphalt is developed by combining a free sulfur, a polymer modifier, a metallic oxide, a viscosity reducer and a low grade asphalt during creation of the asphalt binder, none of the components or combinations of them will be at a temperature of 302°F-338°F.
