Abstract:
Provided are polymer particles which contain a structural unit derived from an acrylate monomer and which, by being mixed in a small amount with other particles, are capable of forming a coating film having excellent flexibility and chemical resistance. Particles comprising a polymer having a glass transition temperature Tg of 20°C to 80°C, the particles being characterized in that the elastic modulus of a particle film comprising the polymer particles is no higher than 1.7 GPa, the volume-average particle size in water is 100-500 nm, and a structural unit derived from an acrylate monomer is included.
