Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a polymer for a photoalignment film, said polymer being capable of forming a photoalignment film that has an excellent alignment regulating force; a photoalignment film that is formed using the polymer for a photoalignment film; and an optically anisotropic body and liquid crystal display element that have said photoalignment film. This polymer for a photoalignment film makes it possible to form a photoalignment film that has an excellent alignment regulating force. Since this photoalignment film has excellent liquid crystal alignment properties, AC burn-in in a liquid crystal display element provided with the photoalignment film can be reduced.
