Abstract:
The disclosed polymer has at least one structural unit (i) selected from a group that consists of a structural unit represented by formula (1) and a structural unit represented by formula (2). The weight-average molecular weight, indicated as the molecular weight of polystyrene using gel permeation chromatography (GPC), is 2.5x104 - 5.0x104. Relative to the total of the polymer, 5.0% or less is a low weight component, which has a molecular weight, indicated as the molecular weight of polystyrene, of 5.0x103 on an integral molecular weight distribution curve measured by GPC.
