Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A polymer profile (1), characterized in that, it comprises

-at least one profile body (2) covered with the aluminium foil that is the subject of the invention, and

-at least one coating (3) which is an aluminium foil and is located on the profile body.

2. A polymer profile (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that; it comprises a body (2) in the polymer structure produced by using the extrusion, pultrusion, injection methods or at least one of the polymer production techniques using polymer raw material, process auxiliaries and fillers.

3. A polymer profile (1) according to Claims 1 or 2, characterized in that, it comprises a body (2) the surface of which is activated by adhesion increasing chemical abrasives, plasma technique, by the help of heat or by mechanical processes to increase the adhesion capability of the coating.

4. A polymer profile (1 ) according to any of the previous Claims, characterized in that the profile body (2) comprises in all visible surfaces an aluminium foil with at least dyed, undyed, coated and anodized coating.

5. A polymer profile (1 ) according to any of the previous Claims, characterized in that; it comprises a coating (3) applied to the polymer profile body (2) using polymeric based adhesive.

A polymer profile (1 ) according to any of the previous Claims, characterized in that; it comprises a coating (3) applied to the profile body (2) using mechanic, physical or chemical connection. 7. A polymer profile (1 ) according to any of the previous Claims, characterized in that, said aluminium foil that is used as the coating (3) is produced by using at least one of the cold and hot rolling, aluminium plate or shaping methods.

8. A polymer (1 ) according to any of the previous Claims, characterized in that; it comprises a coating (3) with thickness of 5-199,99 pm.

9. A polymer (1) according to any of the previous Claims, characterized in that; it comprises a coating (3) applied on the body (2) the surface tension of which is increased, by means of the methods of pressure wheels, embossing providing mechanical pattern or at least one of the current pressure methods.

Description:
A POLYMER PROFILE COATED WITH ALUMINIUM Technical Field

The present invention relates to a polymer profile in which aluminium foil is adhered by at least one of mechanical, physical or chemical ways by using polymeric-based adhesive and aluminium coated surfaces are obtained. Prior art

Today, PVC profiles are covered with aluminium layers. The reason for this is both to prevent the profile body from being affected by external environments and to obtain the desired visuals on the profile surface. In the state of the art, aluminium sheets are connected to the profile body with screw connections. This connection creates problems in the phases of both use and production. For this reason, there is a need today for aluminium coated profiles produced using different methods.

The patent document no EP3361037 in the state of the art mentions the mounting of the aluminium profile to the profile by screwing method. In said applications, the aluminium cover is mounted on the PVC profile separately during the joinery process and causes labour loss. In these applications, the use of aluminium profiles and the wall thickness being high causes heat loss.

Chinese patent document no CN103722862A in the state of the art mentions a metal coating on a PVC bar and PUR material for coating being heated by extrusion method and applied to the PVC and metal film surface by spraying. Unfortunately, curved surfaces cannot be covered in said method. l Brief Description of the Invention

The aim of the invention is to realise a polymer profile onto which the aluminium foil is applied using at least one of the mechanical, physical and chemical ways using polymeric-based adhesive to obtain aluminium coated surfaces. Another aim of the invention is to realise a polymer profile on the surface of which at least one of the adhesion increasing chemical abrasives, plasma technique, heat or mechanical processes are applied to ensure a better coating between the aluminium foil and the surface. Detailed Description of the Invention

“A Polymer Profile Coated with Aluminium” provided in order to reach the aim of the invention is shown in the attached figure, which is;

Figure 1 is the section view of the subject of the invention, a polymer profile coated with aluminium. The parts in the figures are enumerated one by one and the equivalents of these numbers are given below.

A polymer profile coated with aluminium (1), which is the subject of the invention comprises;

-at least one profile body (2), and

-at least one coating (3) which is an aluminium foil and is located on the profile body. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the profile body (2) is a polymer profile. In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the profile body (2) is a composite profile.

The polymer structured body (2) is produced with the methods of extrusion, pultrusion, injection or at least one of the polymer production methods using polymer raw material process auxiliaries and fillers. The surface of the body (2) is activated by adhesion increasing chemical abrasives, plasma technique, heat or mechanical processes to increase the adhesion capability of the coating (3).

In the polymer profile (1) that is the subject of the invention, the coating (3) is an aluminium foil and takes place on all visible surfaces of the profile body (2) at least as dyed, undyed, coated and anodised. The coating (3) is preferably applied on the profile body (2) using polymeric based adhesive. The coating (3) is applied on the profile body

(2) by means of mechanical, physical and chemical connection.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the coating (3) is an aluminium foil, wherein; the foil is produced using at least one of the methods of hot and cold rolling, aluminium plate production or shaping. This application is used for all aluminium alloys and conditions. The coating (3) has a 5-199,99 pm thickness in the preferred embodiment.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, adhesive-applied coating (3) is applied on the body (2) the surface tension of which is increased by means of at least one of the methods of pressure wheel, embossing which can provide mechanical patterns or existing pressuring methods. The application method is chosen depending on the flat and curved surface of the profile body (2) and it is ensured that the coating (3) joins with the body surface (2) in the best way. The polymer profile (1 ) that is the subject of the invention is subjected to mounting with the current profiles in the same way or in existing joining methods.

The polymer profile (1) that is the subject of the invention coated with the aluminium foil coating (3) not only saves labour, time and heat, but also has a higher static strength compared to current profile systems. Besides that, curved and inclined surface on the polymer profile (1 ) can be easily coated with the aluminium foil coating

(3). Furthermore, the thickness of the aluminium foil is decreased and thereby a cost advantage is provided. The polymer profile (1) that is the subject of the invention can be produced without extra labour on the window profile production lines depending on the application areas, and it can also be produced with different production and assembly techniques from different areas. In addition, it has better thermal insulation properties compared to PVC profile window, door and shutter systems with standard aluminium covers and constitutes a suitable solution for passive house systems. In the polymer profile (1 ) that is the subject of the invention, a visual advantage is provided by combining the insulation properties of the profile body in the polymer structure, and the visual properties of the aluminium coating (3). In addition, since the UV resistance of the aluminium coated polymer profile (1) is higher than the existing profiles, its economic life is longer.

It is possible to develop a wide variety of applications of an aluminium coated polymer profile (1) that is the subject of the invention, and the invention cannot be limited to the examples described here, it is essentially as stated in the claims.
