Presented are a polymer resin container for an electric energy storage device and the electric energy storage device enabling solving the problems of an electric energy storage device using a pouch container which are the impossibility of automatic mounting due to thermal instability, an increase in base material costs and a lack of internal pressure durability due to electrolyte gasification. The presented polymer resin container comprises: a first metal substrate which is a flat plate and has a metal-polymer resin bonding layer formed on one surface thereof and the other surface thereof respectively; a second metal substrate which has a punctured center part, is disposed on the upper part of the first metal substrate, and has a metal-polymer resin bonding layer formed on the lower surface thereof; a third metal substrate which has a punctured center part, is disposed on the lower part of the first metal substrate, and has a metal-polymer resin bonding layer formed on the upper surface thereof; a first insulating substrate which is disposed between the first metal substrate and the second metal substrate, has a punctured center part, and is formed of a polymer resin material; and a second insulating substrate which is disposed between the first metal substrate and the third metal substrate, has a punctured center part, and is formed of a polymer resin material.
