Abstract:
Provided is a polymeric material, comprising a recurring unit comprising a functional group and a flexible chain segment connected to the functional group, wherein the functional group comprises an aromatic group. The polymeric material has a refractive index of no lower than 1.56 and a water absorption rate of no higher than 0.1%. Further provided are a preparation method for the polymeric material, and a composition and an optical component and device using the polymeric material. The polymer material can balance the characteristics of the light transmittance, the refractive index, the heat resistance, the water absorption rate, etc. of the material, and widens the application range of the material.
