Abstract:
The present invention provides a polymerizable composition which exhibits excellent solubility and has high storage stability, thereby being free from precipitation of crystals and the like, and which produces a polymer that has excellent orientation and leveling properties, while being not susceptible to defects, cissing, unevenness and appearance defects due to transference of a surfactant. The present invention also provides: a polymer which uses this polymerizable composition; an optically anisotropic body; a display element; a light emitting element; and the like. Specifically provided is a polymerizable composition which contains (a) one or more polymerizable compounds that have one or more polymerizable groups and satisfy formula (I) Re(450 nm)/Re(550 nm) < 1.0, and (b) one or more compounds represented by general formula (B). Also specifically provided are: a polymer which uses this polymerizable composition; an optically anisotropic body; a display element; a light emitting element; and the like.
