Abstract:
Provided is a polymerizable compound useful for preparing a polymer that enables the production of a film, such as an optical film, having a good balance of lightness and saturation, and can improve inverse wavelength dispersibility on the short wavelength side while achieving inverse wavelength dispersibility on the longer wavelength side. This polymerizable compound is represented by formula (I-1) [in formula (I-1), A1 and A2 each independently represents an aromatic group which may have a substituent, B1 and B2 each independently represents a cyclic aliphatic group which may have a substituent, or an aromatic group which may have a substituent, and p and q each independently is an integer of 0-2].
