Title:
POLYMERIZABLE-MONOMER-CONTAINING LIQUID CRYSTAL COMPOSITION AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/194632
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide: a liquid crystal composition suited to a liquid crystal display element in which a stable discharge quantity of a liquid crystal material is realized in an ODF process, minimizing incidence of drop marks during manufacture, without any adverse effect on burn-in characteristics of the display element or on the various characteristics of the liquid crystal display element, such as dielectric anisotropy, viscosity, nematic-phase upper-limit temperature, low-temperature nematic-phase stability, and γ1; and a liquid crystal display element using the same. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal composition provided with photosensitizing properties across the entire composition, in which a polymerizable monomer and a specific liquid crystal compound are combined.
