Abstract:
This invention provides a polymerization tank temperature distribution estimation apparatus
that can estimate the temperature distribution within a gas phase polymerization
reaction tank with a single helical blade. The polymerization tank temperature
distribution estimation apparatus comprises means for calculating the position
and velocity of all of particles for each predetermined time in an agitation field
by a discrete element method, means for calculating the average value of particle
velocity for each time for each microelement in a reaction tank and calculating
the time-mean particle velocity in each microelement, means for correcting
the particle velocity for each microelement so as to satisfy a particle mass conservation
formula, means for using the corrected particle velocity as an initial value
of the gas-liquid velocity, means for correcting the initial value for each microelement
so as to satisfy a gas-liquid mass conservation formula, means for calculating
a particle enthalpy using the corrected particle velocity, the heat of reaction
of particles for each microelement, and heat transfer coefficient between the
particles and the gas and liquid and calculating the particle temperature corresponding
to the particle enthalpy, means for calculating a gas-liquid enthalpy using
the corrected gas-liquid velocity and the coefficient of heat transfer and calculating
the gas-liquid temperature corresponding to the gas-liquid enthalpy, and means
for outputting the calculated particle temperature and gas-liquid temperature
for each predetermined time.
