Abstract:
The present invention relates to polymers and a photovoltaic conversion device using the same having the general formula (I): wherein n is the number of repeating units, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are the same or mutually different and represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group, a cyano group or a nitro group, while R5, R6 are the same or mutually different and represent a C1-C20alkyl group and X represents formula (II) wherein Y=N-R7 or CR8R9 or SiR8R9, and R7, R8, R9 represent in each case a C1-C20alkyl group, EG-1 and EG-2 are the end groups of the polymer and are represented by a hydrogen, a halogen, a trialkylstannyl (-Sn(Alkyl)3), a boronic acid (-B(OH)2), a boronic ester (-B(OAlkyl)2), an aryl or a heteroaryl unit, preferably groups EG-1 and EG-2 of the polymer are represented by hydrogen, bromine or a phenyl unit.
