Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel polynuclear metal compound which is specific, has high catalytic properties, and has great potential as a novel functional material or the like.
Specifically disclosed is a polynuclear metal compound which has at least one structural part derived from a hetero-polyoxometalate compound containing a lacunary structural part, and which is characterized in that the hetero-polyoxometalate compound has such a structure that a poly atom is coordinated with a hetero atom through an oxygen atom, the polynuclear metal compound has a structural part derived from a hetero-polyoxometalate compound containing at least one lacunary structural part selected from the group consisting of a monolacunary structural part, a dilacunary structural part and a trilacunary structural part and contains a metal atom different from a hetero atom or a poly atom, the hetero-polyoxometalate compound containing a monolacunary or dilacunary structural part contains at least one hetero atom selected from the group consisting of P, Si, Ge and Zn, the hetero-polyoxometalate compound containing a trilacunary structural part contains at least one hetero atom selected from the group consisting of P, Si and Ge, and the metal atom is at least one atom selected from the group consisting of Y, Nb, Cr, Mn, Re, Fe, Ru, Co, Rh, Ir, Ni, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ag, Au, Zn, Al, Ga, Cd and In.
