Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polypeptide, synthesized by linking 9 to 10 amino acids, for prevention or treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, wherein the polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence consisting of arginine (R, Arg)-glycine (G, Gly)-aspartic acid (D, Asp)-valine (V, Val)-phenylalanine (F, Phe)-proline (P, Pro)-serine (S, Ser)-tyrosine (Y, Tyr)-threonine (T, Thr). As such, the polypeptide for prevention or treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis according to the present invention can fundamentally treat lung tissues that have undergone fibrosis due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, thus restoring the lung function to a normal level and further delaying or preventing the occurrence of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
