Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a polyphase interpolation filter and a filtering method. The polyphase interpolation filter comprises: a coefficient conversion unit, configured to convert, according to a preset conversion rule, a normal coefficient of a two-phase sub-filter having a same coefficient group inverted-sequence relationship in an original polyphase interpolation filter, into a coefficient group of a first filter having a mirror symmetry property and a coefficient group of a second filter having an odd symmetry property; and a polyphase sub-filter group unit, configured to perform summation of outputs of two delay unit having a same coefficient in the first filter, multiply the result by the same coefficient, and then perform summation of the products; and perform subtraction between outputs of two delay units having opposite coefficients in the second filter, multiply the result by one of the opposite coefficients, and perform summation of the products.
