Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polyphenyle ether/polysterene composition and a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. The polyphenylene ether/polystyrene composition comprises 0-5 parts of a PPE resin, a PS resin, a glass fiber, a lubricant, and other functional additives; the lubricant has an acid value of no less than 10 KOH/mg/g; and the weight ratio of the glass fiber to the lubricant is 2:1-50:1. In the polyphenylene ether/polystyrene composition provided by the present invention, by means of adding a lubricant with a particular acid value and regulating the dosage relationship between the lubricant and the glass fiber, the toughness of the material is greatly improved while good rigidity is maintained, and the method can be widely applied to preparation of a housing product.
