Abstract:
A polyphenylene sulfide resin composition obtained by blending (C) 0.1-2.0 parts by weight of an alkoxysilane compound having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of epoxy groups, amino groups, and isocyanate groups per 100 total parts by weight of (A) 99.5-51 parts by weight of a polyphenylene sulfide resin and (B) 0.5-49 parts by weight of a vinyl-aromatic-compound-based block copolymer having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of carboxyl groups, acid anhydride groups, hydroxyl groups, amino groups, epoxy groups, and isocyanate groups, wherein the polyphenylene sulfide resin composition has a sea-island structure in which the (A) polyphenylene sulfide resin forms a continuous phase (sea phase) and the (B) vinyl-aromatic-compound-based block copolymer forms a disperse phase (island phase) dispersed in a number-average disperse particle diameter of 1000 nm or less in the morphology (phase structure). Provided is a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition having exceptional impact resistance and water pressure resistance.
