Abstract:
A heat-resistant, chemical-resistant polyphenylene sulphide block copolymer which is a block copolymer comprising a polyphenylene sulphide unit and an aromatic polyester unit and which is characterised in that the number average molecular weight of the polyphenylene sulphide unit ranges from 6000 to 100,000 inclusive. Provided is the new polyphenylene sulphide block copolymer that solves the problem of a polyphenylene sulphide segment, which forms the block copolymer, having a low molecular weight and inferior heat resistance and chemical resistance.
