Abstract:
A polypropylene resin for a protective film according to the present invention has an ethylene content of 10-20 wt% in the polypropylene resin, wherein the ratio (a/b) of the ethylene content to an ethylene content in a solvent extract (b) is 3-4. The polypropylene resin has excellent release ability from an adhesive layer and exhibits a superior effect in reducing the occurrence of fish-eye defects. In addition, the protective film manufactured using the polypropylene resin can be applied for a protective film having fine surface unevenness for backlight unit optical sheets, such as a prism sheet, a micro-lens film, a patterned light guiding plate, and a diffusing plate, due to its excellent release ability and the reduction in the occurrence of fish-eye defects.
