Abstract:
Provided are a polysaccharide composition for use in manufacturing a piezoelectric film which has birefringence and in which the highest value of a d14 piezoelectric constant is not less than 1 pC/N, the polysaccharide composition including a polysaccharide and a liquid medium, and a method for manufacturing the same. A polysaccharide composition of the present invention makes it possible to manufacture a polymer piezoelectric film which, despite being an unstretched film, has a high d14 piezoelectric constant.
