Abstract:
Provided are a polystyrene-based composite material and a preparation method, comprising the following components in terms of parts by weight: polystyrene 90-110 parts, silicon carbide powder 30-40 parts, a polyketone 40-60 parts, and a composite filler 10-20 parts. The preparation method for the material comprises: (1) performing high-speed shearing and kneading on carbon carbide powder and a zirconate coupling agent to produce material 1; (2) placing polystyrene, the composite filler, the polyketone, and a lubricant or a dispersant into a plastic open mill for mixing and refining to produce material 2; (3) placing material 1 and material 2 into a twin screw extruder for mixing and granulation, and producing a high-performance polystyrene-based composite material when pelleted. The polystyrene-based composite material has strengthening, flame-retardant, and anticorrosive properties and is applicable in an industrial plate material.
