The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polysulfone-based hollow fiber membrane and a hollow fiber membrane module for purifying a blood preparation, whereby a blood preparation can be deproteinized and thus a highly safe blood preparation can be efficiently obtained. The present invention provides a polysulfone-based hollow fiber membrane for purifying a blood preparation, which has a hydrophilic polymer on the surface that is to be in contact with a blood preparation, and in which the ratio of the hydrophilic polymer present on the aforesaid surface is 40-60 mass% and the porosity of the aforesaid surface is 8-30%.
