The present invention aims to produce a cured body having excellent strength, water resistance, and uniformity. A production method for a polyurethane-based composite material having a ratio R, indicated in formula 1, of 20%–80% by mass and including: a polyaddition reaction step in which a polyurethane component (A) having a number average molecular mass of 1,500–5,000 is formed by causing a polyaddition reaction in a first raw material composition that includes a radical polymerizable monomer (B) that does not cause a polyaddition reaction with either a radial polymerizable compound (a1) or a diisocyanate compound (a2); a second raw material composition preparation step in which a second raw material composition is prepared that includes component A, component B, a radical polymerization initiator, and a filler; and a radical polymerization step in which, after the polyaddition reaction step and the second raw material preparation step have been completed, the second raw material composition is used and radical polymerization is performed. Formula 1: R = 100 × B / [a1 + a2 + A + B]. In the formula, a1, a2, A, and B indicate the content (parts by mass) of component a1, component a2, component A, and component B in the second raw material composition.
