Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polyurethane foam having higher water proof performance compared with the conventional ones using a general-purpose raw material.
A polyurethane foam which is produced by expanding and curing a composition comprising a polyol component, an isocyanate component, a foam-controlling agent, a cross-linking agent and a catalyst, said polyurethane foam being characterized in that the polyol component comprises a polyoxypropylene glyceryl ether-type polyol having an average molecular weight of more than 3400 and 4400 or less (wherein the average molecular weight refers to a number average molecular weight of a polyol when only one type of polyol is used, and refers to the sum total of [number average molecular weight]×[content mass ratio] values of polyols when two or more types of polyols are used), the isocyanate component comprises a tolylene diisocyanate-type isocyanate, the content of the isocyanate component is 40 to 50 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyol component, the cross-linking agent comprises a low-molecular-weight polyol having three or more functional groups and an OH value of 1000 to 2000, the content of the cross-linking agent in the composition is 3.0 to 5.0 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyol component, and the catalyst comprises a resin-forming catalyst and a foaming catalyst.
