Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polyurethane elastic yarn produced without the addition of any cross-linking agent, and more specifically relates to a polyurethane elastic yarn of which the heat stability efficiency (HSE) is at least 20% and the dry-heat setting ratio is at least 70% at 140°C. Also, the invention relates to a circular-knit elastic knitted fabric comprising the polyurethane-based elastic yarn and at least one type of non-elastic yarn or to an elastic fabric produced by a single-covering knitting method using the polyurethane-based elastic yarn, and the invention relates to a knitted fabric not subject to the phenomenon of partial laddering of the fabric which occurs when only one elastic fibre comes out after passing through heat processes of, respectively, a dry heat of from 120°C to 140°C and a wet heat of from 110°C to 130°C.
