Abstract:
The present invention provides a polyvinyl acetal powder coating material that can form a coating film having a surface with excellent smoothness and having sufficient resistance even at high temperatures and high humidities. The present invention relates to a polyvinyl acetal powder coating material containing a polyvinyl acetal resin that includes in the molecule thereof a structural unit represented by chemical formula (1), and that has a degree of polymerization of 200-1750 inclusive, a content by percentage of vinyl ester units of 0.01-30% by mole, and a degree of acetalization of 55-83% by mole.
