Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the grip performance of a slippy article such as polyvinyl chloride-made gloves by forming a slip-proof layer by a simple immersion molding technique.
Slip-proof layers (2) are formed on parts of a base layer (1) by immersion molding, wherein the ratio of the amount of a plasticizer relative to the amount of polyvinyl chloride in each of the slip-proof layers (2) is lower than that in the base layer (1). Thus, even when an article such as a dish with a detergent is held by the surfaces (2a) of the slip-proof layers (2) to perform a work such as dish washing, the slipperiness resulted from the interaction between a slip component, e.g., a surfactant, contained in the detergent and the plasticizer on the slip-proof layers (2) is decreased compared with that on the surface of the base layer (1). In other words, the static friction force required for holding the article sustainably on the surfaces (2a) of the slip-proof layers (2) is larger than that on the surface of the base layer (1) and, therefore, the article can get held by the surfaces (2a) of the slip-proof layers (2) more readily compared with the surface of the base layer (1). Furthermore, the dynamic friction force on the surfaces (2a) of the slip-proof layers (2) is increased and, therefore, the article cannot drop easily even if the article slips to some extent.
