Abstract:
The present invention ensures the dispatching of an emergency notification from a terminal device when a communication failure due to constant light emission of an optical network unit (ONU) has occurred in a passive optical network (PON) system. A PON system (10) is provided with a plurality of ONUs (500-502) connected to an optical line terminal (OLT) (100) via an optical divider (300), wherein data is transmitted to the OLT (100) by time-division multiplexing. The ONU (500) comprises an emergency notification detection unit (540) for detecting an emergency notification request from a telephone terminal (900), and an emergency dispatching control unit (550) for outputting a disconnection request between the ONUs (501, 502) and the OLT (100) to the optical divider (300) if the connection of the ONU (500) to the OLT (100) is not established when the emergency notification request is detected. The optical divider (300) comprises an optical line control unit (330) for disconnecting the ONUs (501, 502) and the OLT (100) in accordance with the disconnection request.
