The porous carbon current collector comprises a carbon material (1) and a polymer (2), and the porosity of the porous carbon current collector is 9% to 60%. Also provided is an electrochemical device. The electrochemical device comprises the porous carbon current collector. The porous carbon current collector can improve the battery rate performance.
