Abstract:
A carbon material which can be used as a structural material with excellent interfacial adhesion and which has a continuous pore structure oriented along the stretch axis, and a production method thereof are provided. This porous carbon material is characterized by having a continuous pore structure in at least a portion thereof, and in that the degree of orientation of the continuous pore structure, measured by small-angle X-ray scattering or X-ray CT, is 1.10 or greater.
