Abstract:
This porous ceramic particle (16) has a pair of principle surfaces (161, 162) parallel to each other. The average porosity in a 1/4 range (633) of the particle thickness, which is the distance between the principal surfaces from one principle surface (161) to the other principal surface (162) is higher than the average porosity in a 1/2 range (632) of the particle thickness positioned at the center between the pair of principal surfaces. The upper principle surface (161) is a surface disposed on the object. By limiting a region having a higher porosity in the vicinity of one principal surface (161), the porous ceramic particle (16) has low thermal conductivity and low heat capacity, and the deterioration of mechanical strength can be suppressed.
