Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a porous surface coating on a substrate, consisting of the following steps: a. a sol/gel or a polymer dissolved in a solution is provided, b. a salt containing nitrate is added to the sol/gel or to the solution, c. the sol/gel containing the nitrate-containing salt or the solution containing the polymer and the nitrate-containing salt is applied as a coating to the substrate, d. the phases are separated, and e. pores are produced in the coating by warming the coating or irradiating with UV light.
