Title:
POROUS MEMBRANE PRODUCTION METHOD, AND POROUS MEMBRANE DRYING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/137237
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This porous membrane production method involves a solidification step for solidifying a membrane-forming solution by means of a solidification solution to form a porous membrane, and a heating step for drying the porous membrane. The heating step involves at least a water reduction step for reducing the water content in the porous membrane. In the water reduction step, a heating medium for heating the porous membrane is used and the temperature tgh of the heating medium used in the water reduction step fulfills the relation tgh>Td, where Td is the thermal deformation temperature of the membrane material. Further, this porous membrane drying device is provided with a water reduction unit for using the heating medium to reduce the water content in the porous membrane, and a final drying unit disposed downstream from the water reduction unit for using the heating medium to dry the porous membrane. Between the water reduction unit and the final drying unit, a membrane surface temperature measurement means is provided for measuring the membrane surface temperature of the porous membrane. Also provided is a control means for controlling the temperature and/or the flow speed of the heating medium in the water reduction unit depending on the results of measuring the membrane surface temperature.
