Title:
POROUS MICROSPHERE INCLUDING MUSSEL ADHESIVE PROTEIN, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/182278
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a porous microsphere including a mussel adhesive protein, and a method for manufacturing same. A porous microsphere including a mussel adhesive protein according to the present invention can be injected into a living body in a minimally invasive manner through a syringe, and thus, as a cell delivery vehicle, can efficiently deliver stem cells for treatment to areas of tissue damage. Moreover, the porous microsphere is widely applicable as a tissue engineering scaffold capable of being appropriately applied according to the size of a tissue defect area, or as a drug delivery vehicle and the like.
