Technical Field

[I] The present invention relates to a portable accessory; and, more particularly, to a portable accessory attached to a mobile phone and the like or used as a key ring.

[3] Generally, a key ring or an accessory attached to a mobile phone, as shown in FlG.

1 includes: a case 10, made of a hard synthetic resin or a transparent acryl, for embedding therein a character, advertisement words, a photograph or the like; and a combining string 20 for connecting the case 10 with the mobile phone by using a ring 12 formed in an upper end of the case 10.

[4] However, since the whole parts of the case 10 is made of hard materials, the conventional accessory generates a noise when it is collided with the mobile phone, and it even generates a scratch on the mobile phone.

[5] Further, a connection status between the ring 12 and the combining string 20 is not good in appearance, and because the connection can not be made easily, it is very difficult to exchange the accessories.

Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem

[7] It is, therefore, an object of the present invention to provide a portable accessory capable of, not only putting contents such as various advertising materials, a cleaning patch or the like in a hard frame body, but also minimizing a noise caused by the friction between the accessory and an article to which the accessory is attached, and preventing damages of the article by providing a soft rim member at the rim of the frame body, the soft rim member being made in a single body with the hard frame body by a molding process or made separately therefrom.

[8] Another object of the present invention is to provide a portable accessory having a good appearance and easily attached to or detached from the article.

Technical Solution

[10] In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a portable accessory, including:

[II] a frame body having an accommodating groove at each of the top and the bottom side thereof for accommodating therein contents;

[12] a rim member, which is made of a soft material and provided along the edge portion of the frame body; and [13] a connecting unit for making the frame body and a combining string combined together and separated from each other. [14]

Advantageous Effects

[15] In accordance with the present invention, the portable accessory has the hard frame body embedded therein the contents such as an advertising material, a cleaning patch or the like. The portable accessory also has the soft rim member, which is made in a single body with the hard frame body or made separately therefrom to be provided along the edge portion of the frame body, so that a noise caused by the friction between the accessory and an article to which the accessory is attached can be minimized and the article can be prevented from being damaged. Further, since the connection between the frame body and the combining string is made by using the connecting unit, there is an effect that the connection status is good in its appearance and it is easy to combine the frame body and the combining string together and to separate them from each other.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[23] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[24] As shown in FIGs. 2 and 3, a portable accessory 100 includes a frame body 110 having a specific shape; a rim member 120 provided along the edge portion of the frame body 110; and a connecting unit 130 for connecting the frame body 110 and a combining string 150.

[25] Herein, the frame body 110 is made in an arbitrary shape such as a circle, a polygon, a character shape or the like, and it is preferably made of a hard synthetic resin material by molding. And more preferably, it is made into a transparent body.

[26] At each of the top and the bottom side of the frame body 110, an accommodating groove 112 having a specific depth and a flat bottom surface is formed, and preferably, each accommodating groove 112 faces each other and has the same area.

[27] Further, the contents 140, each being either in a shape of a sheet shape or a three- dimensional structure, are adhered to be accommodated in the accommodating grooves 112. The contents 140 are something delicate and beautiful such that customers prefer to have them. That is, in case of a sheet shape, the contents 140 may be an image, a photograph, a charm, a decorative pattern, a hologram, a lenticular product, a cross stitch cloth, a gold or silver foil, an advertisement design and the like. On the other hand, in case of a three dimensional structure, the contents 140 may be a commemorative coin, a natural object like a pressed flower, a sculpture, a cleaning pad (made of a micro fiber cloth for easily cleaning an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), a key button or the like of a mobile phone), a mirror, a scented member and the like.

[28] In adhering the contents 140 to the accommodating grooves 112, adhesives such as a rubber magnet, a double sided tape and the like can be used, and in some cases, heat- bonding can be performed.

[29] Further more, a transit chip for using mass transit or an RF (radio frequency) chip which requires authentication might be accommodated in the accommodating grooves 112. In addition, the RF chip can embedded in the frame body 110 during the molding process thereof.

[30] The rim member 120 provided along the edge portion of the frame body 110 is preferably made of a soft rubber material, and can be made in a single body with the frame body 110 by the molding process thereof.

[31] Further, as another embodiment, the rim member 120 can be made separately from the frame body 110 to be provided along the edge portion of the frame body 110.

[32] The connecting device 130 is for making the frame body 110 and the combining string 150 combined together or separated from each other. It includes a combining protrusion 131 projected from the edge of the frame body 110; and a combining device 132 to which the combining string 150 is fixed by a knot.

[33] The center portion of the upper side of the combining protrusion 131 is cut to form a pair of hooks and the combining device 132 includes a locking groove 133 and a through hole 134. Into the locking groove 133, the combining protrusion 131 inserted to fix the frame body 110 to the combining device 132. Further, through the through hole 134, the combining string 150 is inserted into the combining device 132 from the outside thereof to be tied to make a knot thereinside, thereby preventing the combining

string 150 from being escaped from the combining device 132.

[34] The combining hole 132 further includes a cover 135 of a rubber material at the outer surface thereof, thereby reducing a noise generated by friction between the accessory and an article to which the accessory is attached and preventing a scratch on the article. Further, the combining string 150 is in a shape of a ring whose length is extensible and contractible or a ring made of a metal material.

[35] Hereinafter, a use of the portable accessory configured in the above-described way will be described.

[36] After the rim member 120, which is made of the rubber material and made in a single body with the frame body 110 during a molding process thereof or made separately from the frame body 110, is attached at the edge portion of the frame body 110, the contents 140 are adhered to the accommodating grooves 112.

[37] On the other hand, the combining string 150 is made to penetrate the through hole

134 in the combining device 132 of the connecting unit 130, and its one end is tied to make a knot to fix the combining string 150 to the combining device 132.

[38] After that, the combining device 132 is attached to the mobile phone by using the other end of the combining string 150.

[39] In such a state, the combining protrusion 131 of the frame body 110 is inserted into the combining device 132, thereby making it possible to carry the frame body 110 with the mobile phone.

[40] In this manner, by using the connecting unit 130, the combining string 150 can be more easily combined with and separated from the article such as a mobile phone and the like.

[41] As shown in FIG. 4, a user always carries the accessory 100 along with the mobile phone 200 and can see the contents 140 at any time when necessity arises. Hence, in case the contents 140 are advertising materials, the customer will be inspired to own the product in the advertisement, which raises the product value. That is, the product will be efficiently advertised by the accessory to satisfy an advertiser, thereby increasing efficiency of the accessory as a promotional material. Further, in case the contents 140 are, for example, cleaning patches, by contacting with and being rubbed against a desired place such as an LCD, a key button or the like of a mobile phone 200, a soiled part thereof can be cleaned, i.e., the micro fiber cloth is made in contact with the soiled part to clean the soiled part.

[42] Herein, due to the rim member 120 provided along the edge portion of the frame body 110 and the cover 135 provided at the connecting unit 130, a noise generated by the friction between the accessory 100 and the mobile phone 200 can be minimized and a scratch on the mobile phone 200 can be prevented.

bodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the invention as defined in the following claims.
