Abstract:
The invention relates to a portable adaptive multimodal monitoring system for humans, based on a biomechanical-physiological avatar, that can detect and advise on physical risk events including, but not limited to, falls, in real time, in a discrete manner and in open or closed surroundings. The system also enables a personalised and detailed monitoring of the physical activity of the subject and of relevant physiological parameters in a configurable manner and according to the requirements established by the health professional.
