Abstract:
A smartphone (1) pertaining to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with an acceleration sensor (15) and a controller (10). The acceleration sensor (15) detects the acceleration in three axes. The controller (10) controls various functions on the basis of the acceleration in three axes from the acceleration sensor (15). On the basis of the acceleration in two of the three axes, the controller (10) alters the acceleration offset in the remaining axis. The controller (10) determines which of a plurality of movement states is present, and when the determined state is a predetermined movement state, on the basis of the acceleration in two of the three axes, alters the acceleration offset in the remaining axis.
