DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Hereinafter, the preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As illustrated in Fig. 1, a portable bidet according the first embodiment of the present invention includes a hose 10, a body 20, a water injecting member 30 and belts 40.

The hose 10 is further disposed at one end thereof with a fixing member 50 for fixation thereof. The fixing member 50, as shown in Figure 2, is formed at one side thereof with an insertion hole 51 so as to be inserted into a tip end of a water tank equipped at a toilet facility.

Meanwhile, as shown in Fig. 3, a differently shaped fixing member 60 can be used for fixing the hose 10, such as a member shaped like a

clothing pin.

As illustrated in Figs. 1 and 4, the body 20 is composed of an operating switch 100, a battery 110, a pump 120, a water adjusting valve 130, a water adjusting handle 140 and an inner hose 150.

The operating switch 100 is attached at a periphery of the body 20, by way of example, an upper surface of the body 20, and switches a voltage output from the battery 110 to apply same to the pump 120.

The battery 110 is installed at an inner side. of the body 20 to apply a voltage to the pump 120 via the operating switch 100. The pump 120 is also disposed inside the body 120 to allow a pipe 121 at an inlet to be connected to the hose 10 and to allow a pipe at an outlet to be connected to the water adjusting valve 130, and receives a voltage from the battery 110 to execute the pumping operation.

The water adjusting valve 130 is a manual valve whose opening and closing degrees are controlled by manipulation of the water adjusting handle 140 to adjust the amount of water released from the pump 120.

The inner hose 150 is connected at one end thereof to the water adjusting valve 130 and is connected at the other end thereof to the water spraying member 30 via an opening 21 formed at one side of the body 20. The inner hose 150 made of flexible material may be long enough to allow the water spraying member 30 to be smoothly folded and unfolded.

The water spraying member 30, as illustrated in Figs. 6 and 7, is composed of a coupling unit 31, a first pipe 32 and a second pipe 33.

The coupling unit 31 is connected to an inner hose 150 of the body 20.

The water spraying member 30 is inserted between a pair of flanges 22 formed at one side of the body 20. The flanges 22 are respectively formed at both sides thereof with hinge pins 31a to allow rotation of the water spraying member 30.

The first pipe 32 is connected to the coupling unit 31 while the second pipe 33 is telescopically inserted into a circ : umferential surface of the first pipe 32 and is formed at one side thereof with a predetermined number of water spraying nozzles 33a.

The water spraying member 30 is rotatably hinged to the body 20, such that, the water injecting member 30 retracts or fold upwards when not in use, as illustrated in Fig. 5, and folds downwards when in use, as shown in Figure 6.

The belts 40 are fixed at one side thereof to the body 20 respectively and is released and attached at the other side thereof by releasable and attachable members 41 and 42. The releasable and attachable members 41 and 42 may be those generally used for bags, sacks, belts and other articles. By way of example, releasable and attachable members having a sharp protruder and a hitching hole may be used.

Hereinafter, an operating example of the portable bidet thus constructed according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As illustrated in Figs. 7 and 8, a user of the portable bidet according to the present invention attaches the body 20 and the belts 40

to the user's waist and fastens the belts 40 by way of the releasable and attachable members 41 and 42. A longitudinal end of the hose 10 is dipped into a water tank (T) of the toilet facility (B) and the fixing member 50 is inserted into a tip end of the water tank (T) for fixation thereof, and then the user sits down on a toilet seat.

By way of reference, it is not always the case that the longitudinal end of the hose 10 should be installed at the water tank (T) of the toilet facility (B). If there is another convenient water tank nearby, the fixing member 50 of the hose 10 may be installed at the desired water tank, or a longitudinal end of the hose 10 may be directly inserted into the faucet of a bathroom.

Next, the water spraying member 30 rotates to allow the nozzle 33a to be directed to a desired angle, and the second pipe 33 of the water spraying member 30 is adjusted in length thereof to a proper height. At this time, when the operating switch 100 is turned on, the power from the battery 110 is applied to the pump 120 to activate the pump 120. The water in the water tank (T) is introduced into the pump 120 via the hose 10 by the operating pump 120. The water is then released from the pump 120 to be transmitted to the water spraying member 30 via the water adjusting valve 130 and the inner hose 150 to be again sprayed via the nozzle 33a. A proper amount of water is sprayed from the nozzle 33a by manipulation of the water adjusting handle 140.

Meanwhile, according to a second embodiment of the present invention as illustrated in Fig. 9, an electric heater 200 may be installed between a pump 120 and a water adjusting valve 130 to instantly heat the water sprayed from the pump. The electric heater 200 is

constructed to be operated by voltage supplied from a battery 100 via an operating switch 100.

According to a third embodiment of the present invention as illustrated in Figs. 10 and 11, an electric heater 200 may be installed between a pump 120 and a water adjusting valve 130 as in the second embodiment, where, instead of a battery, a power supply unit 300 which rectifies and steps down a commercial alternating current AC power in voltage thereof, may be installed to supply power to the pump 120 and the electric heater 200 via an operating switch 100. At this time, the power supply unit 300 may be supplied with power from an external commercial AC power source via a separate power line 310 and a plug 320.

The portable bidet according to the thirci embodiment of the present invention thus constructed can be usecl at any restroom or bathroom where the plug 320 can be plugged in, and there is an advantage in the portable bidet by way of the third embodiment in that it can be used for a long time irrespective of the number of times used compared with an embodiment using a battery as power supply means.

The present invention is by no means limited to the aforesaid embodiments, and the present embodiments are therefore illustrative and not restrictive since those skilled in the art will recognize with considerable modifications within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.

As apparent from the foregoing, there is an advantage in the portable bidet according to the embodiments of the present invention thus described in that a body including a pump, power supply means and

a body having a water spraying member, belts attachable to the body of a user and a hose for supplying water to the body are all integrally formed such that it is easy to hand-carry and can be used at any place at any time.

The general public or patients who frequently have to cleanse genital or anal parts for medical treatment or prevention of diseases may use the portable bidet of the present invention at all times even in outdoor life, thereby improving the hygienical environment for the people.
