Description:
DESCRIPTION

PORTABLE ECOLOGICAL CHARGER

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an energy supply system for electrical and/or electronic devices (such as cell phones, MP3 readers, GPS, among others) that, instead of employing a conventional electric power source uses corporal movements as energy source.

STATE OF THE ART

In the state of the art there are disclosed some examples of chargers for electronic devices that dispense conventional electric power sources.

Some of the several examples of these types of chargers are referred in patents CA 2615071, JP 2007282296, US 2007216346, JP 2006311680 and DE 20200601331. These chargers possess the obvious disadvantage of being only able to be used during the day, needing a strong and continuous solar exhibition, which not only is not possible many times, but also becomes uncomfortable.

Other chargers are also known from the state of the art, which neither need to use an electrical power source nor the sun light. One of the examples of this type of chargers is disclosed in US patent 2008074079. In this document, there is described a ring-shaped structure with several magnetic spheres in its interior. This invention presents the problem of being necessary one specific movement to get energy.

Patents WO 2005065173 and US 2005156563 disclose chargers that use magnet systems to generate electric power. The systems presented in these inventions, besides possessing a complex and expensive construction, do not allow an easy mobility like the system of the present invention.

Also in European patent EP 1363380 a system to charge the battery of a cell phone by a magnetic system is disclosed. This system presents the problem of being necessary a steady plan to make possible a rotation that allows an efficient charge of the battery.

The system of the present invention distinguishes from those already known in the state of the art for its portability, simplicity and versatility.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention refers to a system for energy supply to electrical and/or electronic devices such as cell phones, MP3 and MP4 readers, GPS, and others.

The present system neither need to be connected to an energy source, as the conventional electric power supply, nor to a system of batteries, since it autonomously produces enough energy to charge the batteries or to directly feed electrical and/or electronic peripheral devices.

The present invention also allows its night use since it does not use the solar light as energy source.

The system of the present invention uses the natural movements of the human body during its daily activities, such as walk, to get energy. For this purpose, a system of magnet and coils is used that generates energy with the movement .

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Figure 1 represents a sectional view of the ecological charger according to the present invention.

Figure 2 represents a general view of a configuration of the ecological charger according to the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a system for energy supply to electrical and/or electronic devices (as cell phones, MP3 readers, GPS, among others), which instead of using a conventional electric power source uses the body movements as energy source. This device takes advantage of the energy generated by activities such as walking or sport practicing to accumulate energy to feed or to charge the batteries of several equipments.

This system can be used together with a fixing system to the human body, such as a Velcro™ system, adjustable fabric or another compatible one, to be adapted to the arms, legs or another part of the body to allow a practical and comfortable use.

The energy generation system consists in a plastic tube, or another suitable material, having a magnet in its interior. The magnet (6), using the movement of any physical activity, will move passing through the coil (5) thus generating energy. Two springs (4), one at each extremity of the tube, will damp the impact of the magnet and will assist the beginning of a new movement of passing through the coil, allowing it to "jump" during the impact, resulting in more passages through the coil.

Inside the tube there is also at least a battery (3) , which accumulates the energy generated by the previously described system, for further use.

The system may possess a magnet of variable power, optionally a circuit or electronic plate that allows optimizing the energy generation as well as a variable number of coils, thus possessing a capability of generating variable energy. Thus it becomes possible to use any electrical device, in any place, in case of an inexistent easy access to an electric power source, also exempting the need of sun light as in other existing solutions.

In order to provide a better understanding of the invention one embodiment of the present invention is presented in the figures described hereinafter, in which the presented example is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

In figure 1 a sectional view of one embodiment of the ecological charger of the present invention is represented, which components are identified according to the elements listed below.

1 - Cover

2 - Electronic plate

3 - Battery

4 - Spring

5 - Coil

6 - Magnet

7 - Spring cover

8 - Exterior tube

As already mentioned, the magnet (6) , using the movement of any physical activity, will move crossing the coil (5) generating energy to serve the two springs (4) , besides dumping the impact of the magnet, to assist the beginning of a new movement of passing through the coil.

Figure 2 represents an external view of one embodiment of the ecological charger according to the present invention- In this figure a Velcro™ system can also be observed, which allows fixing the ecological charger to the human body, thus allowing taking advantage from its movements.
