Abstract:
In addition to heating liquid by the heat generator of a portable heat transfer unit,
a thermoelectric conversion element is built in a heater and a liquid circulator is
driven using an electromotive force thus generated. The portable heat transfer unit
comprises a gas supply (B) including an LPG cylinder, a gas/air mixer (C) equipped
with a gas ejection nozzle and a Venturi tube working with that gas and having a
mixing ratio regulation mechanism for starting, a combustor (D) for flame-burning
mixture gas thus generated in a combustion chamber and incorporating a porous
solid radiation exchanging body for partially transforming combustion exhaust
gas energy generated through combustion in the combustion chamber into radiation
energy, a heat collector (E) arranged around the combustor, a thermoelectric conversion
element (T) having its high temperature side and low temperature side in tight
contact with the heat collector and a liquid circulator (F), respectively, and
the liquid circulator (F) which is driven with power generated from the thermoelectric conversion
element (T), characterized in that heat generated from the combustor (D) is transferred
through a liquid circuit (G) to an external thermal load (H).
