Abstract:
The invention relates to an autonomous illumination device, supplied by a fitted battery of accumulators (E), rechargeable by solar cells (C), which is economic, as the use of LEDs (D) is associated with a low energy consumption and a high luminous output which permits a long-lasting illumination with constant intensity. The invention particularly relates to a rigid rectangular box (B) made from aluminum or any other suitable metallic material, hermetically sealed by means of synthetic resin (or any other plastic material) bonded to five of the faces thereof. Said box, which is resistant to all natural attack, incorporates a printed electronic circuit (F), connecting a solar panel (C), a battery of accumulators (E), a row of LEDs (D) and a switch. The above permits the device, on a particular manipulation, to give off a long-lasting illumination of constant intensity. Said device guarantees, autonomy, reliability, longevity and security with respect to domestic lighting, either full-time or as back-up in regions lacking in energy sources, particularly electricity.
