Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a portable illumination device in which it is possible to adjust the focal point of light, wherein a disassembly/separation mechanism and a focal point adjustment mechanism are independent of each other and the focal point can be adjusted without changing the overall shape. [Solution] A configuration comprising a light emission part, a light source holding part, a power supply holding part, and a light source unit. With this configuration, an engaging thread is cut into the inner peripheral surface of the light source holding part, and a corresponding thread is provided on the outer peripheral surface of a light source part. Turning the power supply holding part threadably mounted and fastened to a base part causes solely the light source part to advance (extend)/retract (shorten) in the longitudinal (axial) direction while turning within the light source holding part, making it possible to adjust the focal point without changing the overall shape.
