Abstract:

According to one embodiment of the present invention, a portable information apparatus (1) includes: a display unit (2) that includes a display section (4) and a panel (5); a housing (3) having a front frame (7) and a rear frame (8); and a mounting substrate (12) that is disposed in the housing. The display section (4) has a display surface (4a) and a rear surface (4b). The panel (5) is disposed on the display surface of the display section (4), and has a rear surface (5b), a display surface (5a), and a side surface (5c). The rear surface (5b) of the panel (5) is provided on the display surface side of the display section (4). The front frame (7) is provided to surround the side surface (5c) of the panel (5). The front frame (7) is provided with a supporting section (7a) for supporting the display unit (2). The rear frame (8) is disposed on the rear surface side of the display section (4), and faces the display unit (2) by being in contact with the front frame (7). The rear frame (8) has a first rear frame (10) and a second rear frame (11), and the first rear frame (10) has higher rigidity than the second rear frame (11).
