Abstract:
Provided are a portable information terminal, a broadcast reception device, and a system which are able to execute a higher value-added function. A system wherein a broadcast reception device is provided with a broadcast reception unit which receives broadcast waves of a digital broadcast service, a separation unit which separates at least video of a broadcast program and application-related information from the received broadcast waves, a video decoding unit which decodes the video, a communication unit, and a display unit, and a portable information terminal is provided with an image capturing unit which captures an image in the direction of sight, a processing unit which detects the position of a video display screen frame of the broadcast reception device on the basis of the result of image capturing by the image capturing unit, a display unit, a communication unit, an application execution unit which executes an application and outputs application execution video, and a control unit which, on the basis of the position of the video display screen frame of the broadcast reception device, which has been detected by the processing unit, and the application-related information, performs control for changing the display position of information within the application execution video.
