Abstract:

Provided are a portable information terminal device holder that does not have a limit on the size of a portable information terminal device usable therewith and is compact enough to be easily carried around, and a portable information terminal device controller to which the portable information terminal device holder is attached. This portable information terminal device holder (10) for holding a portable information terminal device with a short-range wireless communication function has a pair of arms (11, 12), which open and close with respect to a support shaft (18) serving as a fulcrum so as to sandwich the portable information terminal device, and an attachment section for attaching the holder, in a detachable manner, to the portable information terminal device controller (30) which is used to manipulate the portable information terminal device, said portable information terminal device holder (10) being configured such that the pair of arms (11, 12) can be locked at an arbitrary opening/closing angle. In addition, the portable information terminal device controller (30) is equipped with a mount section where the portable information terminal device holder (10) is attached in a detachable manner, a manipulation unit for manipulating the portable information terminal device, and a short-range wireless communication unit for communicating with the portable information terminal device.
